Bubblegum Knit Cowl Top
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the drop-shoulder construction affect the fit at the neckline?
The shoulder seams sit off the natural shoulder point, which lets the front fabric gather and pool forward into a cowl drape. You get that soft, layered neckline without a separate insert or tie. It sits open and relaxed at the chest, so it works on a range of necklines and feels comfortable all day.
Will the ruched waist actually define my shape in a knit fabric?
Yes. The ruching pulls the fabric in at the waist, creating visible definition on what would otherwise be a straight-cut knit. You get a fitted-looking waist without any boning or structured panel. It's a good option if you want shape but don't want to tuck in a top.
How does the 95% Viscose / 5% Lycra fabric feel to wear?
Viscose drapes softly against the skin and has a slight natural sheen, so it reads dressier than a standard jersey. The 5% Lycra gives the knit enough recovery to hold its shape through a full evening of wear. It won't stretch out or go boxy after a few hours.
How do I care for this top?
Hand wash only. Because viscose can lose its shape when machine-agitated, hand washing in cool water keeps the drape and the ruching intact. Lay flat to dry.
What length is the top and where will it sit on my body?
The top measures 22 inches in length. On most frames that puts the hem at the hip. It's long enough to wear with high-waist trousers or a midi skirt without riding up, and short enough to layer over fitted pants without adding bulk.
What sizes are available and what is the model wearing?
The top comes in XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. The model in the product images wears size S. If you're between sizes, the Lycra content gives a small amount of stretch, so sizing down is generally not necessary.
